Choose your workshop
Beginners Workshop
- For the artist who wants to UPSKILL him/herself
- Three day workshop
- Preferably suitable for ages 17 and up
- No previous/ and or limited experience needed (Everyone is welcome)
- Sessions include improvisation, ensemble work, introduction to the Meisner method, scene study & audition preparation
- Limited to 14 students
Advanced Workshop
- For the focused actor who wants to REFINE their technique
- Three day workshop
- For Beginners Workshop alumni and professional/working actors
- Sessions include incorporation of character and improvisational work from Uta Hagen and Stanford Meisner, as well as scene study and lots of character work
- The filming of your best work from the weekend (whether a monologue or scene work), with a personal recommendation letter to send to casting agents/agencies.
- Limited to 12 students
Host a Workshop at your School
- For pupils who seek the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the entertainment industry
- Three hour workshop
- Suitable for Grade 10 – Grade 12
- Sessions include a thorough Q&A, foundational improvisation and ensemble work for two hours based on Viola Spolin’s Theatre Games.
- Book for an after-school session, or a weekend-session.

FAQ’s
The Beginners and Advanced workshops are designed to accommodate ages 17 years and up. We have even had a 66 year old complete a beginners workshop.
You would have needed to attend a Beginner’s Workshop in order to qualify for the Advanced Workshop, unless otherwise arranged with Simoné.
All workshops (excluding Advanced) are geared towards actors with no, limited or previous experience. Everyone is welcome.
Beginners and Advanced: Dress in neutral colored clothing (preferable black) and learn to release any judgment or self consciousness about body size and shape. Wear low heeled soft shoes, thin-soled sneakers, yoga socks, or bare feet. No running shoes. No jewelry, perfume, or cologne. Long hair should be tied up and kept out of the face.
No refunds to be given to students who started or completed the workshop. Should you pay and cancel for any reason before the workshop started only a 50% refund will be paid into your account.
